I have always loved art. Whether it was painting, crochet, baking, or trying something completely new; if I could express my creativity I was happy. I have also enjoyed problem solving for as long as I can remember. Whether that was putting together Lego, a puzzle or playing sudoku, I was always thrilled when I completed the challenge.
My love for creativity and problem solving led me to apply for a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology specializing in Interactive Multimedia and Design through a joint program between Carleton University and Algonquin College. During my studies I was able to combine the two things I love to create anything from a website, to a 3D animation, to a video game, to an escape room!
Now I use what I love to create multimedia products to provide information or to grab the attention of the intended audience.
Lately, during my free time you can find me baking sugar cookies, making some sort of craft, participating in geek trivia or learning how to snowboard.
I converted existing text and PDF files to EPUB3 format, create new EPUB3 eTexts, and edit existing eTexts for multiple textbook publications.
I was responsible for making all PDFs on the Canadian Bar Association’s website compliant with AODA. I created emails and added content to their websites. I was responsible for launching their Instagram page and managing their other social media channels.
I code emails and add content to their websites. I create videos and animations as promotional material for multiple campaigns.
